East Baltimore Community Engagement

The Door is proud to be a part of the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore Community Partnership.

COVID Food Distribution

The Door celebrates 1 year of working with its numerous partners to distribute food during the COVID pandemic.

Food Distribution

One of our longest tenured programs is our Food Pantry which serves the community year-round. Since COVID, we have been able to partner with Johns Hopkins, Baltimore City and the Maryland Food Bank to provide fresh produce, meat and dairy to families in East Baltimore.

Helping the Homeless

The Door partners with Baltimore Humanitarian to help provide care packages to the homeless.  These packages consist of food (snacks, fruit, tuna fish, crackers), water, hygiene products (soap, sanitizer, toothbrushes, masks) and clothing (gloves, socks, etc.)

Call to Action

Join us and our community partners as we work to make a difference in the lives of the citizen in East Baltimore

Donate

We appreciate your support as we continue to grow and provide opportunities and resources to the families of Baltimore City.
We Aim To Serve

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
Peter 4:10
